What a wkt that was just before the end of mid way between the WI innings Lara looked very much settled played a poor shot.

Really Vettori needs all that praise for making Lara play that poor shot.

Tony Cozier: Well NZ once again prove their superiority with their bowling when compared with this WI side. They are really are on top here at midway at 25 oves.

Michael Holding: Well Tony they really are, hope the WI batsman so learn something for mtheir mistakes, they havent learned anything so far, 3 batsman got start nd threw it away, poor performance. The worm tells the story, they are far ahead of kiwis at this stage but the wkts are costing them dearly.

WI 123-4 at 25 overs

SCORE UPDATE TILL THE END

WI lose their fifth wkt that of smith and they are in real trouble looking down the barrel.

Oram is the bowler to take the wkt, Smith missed a full length delivery on his pads and was bowled. WI 133-5

WI lose Jacobs next and they are really facing a huge defeat and are really going no where.

Yes as mentioned earlier batting has become quite difficult now and players are finding it difficult to judge the pace and bounce of this wkt.

Jacobs tryig to cut Vetori underedged it on to the stumps. WI 144-6

Chanderpal is gone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the WI skipper is too out and thats the end of the road for this team chances of coming back into the contest.

Chanderpal too was undone by the bounce in the pitch as an attempted cut short failed as the ball didnt raise to the necessary bounce. WI 145-7

NZ win First odi by 104 runs.:hpraise :happy :clap

WI lost the remaining 3 wkts quickly without any fight and was bundled out for 160 runs giving NZ a huge victory margin of 104 runs. Vettori and Oram were the wrecker in cheif as they took 3 and 4 wkts respectively. Someone need to :help WI i think

These are the remaining 3 wkts

Well its a superb victory by the Kiwis and i hope the WI do learn from their mistakes, the main stars for this huge victory are,

  1. Marshall for his steady innings at top of the order.
  2. Mcmillan for his aggressive innings that helped them go past 250.
  3. Good bowling from Vettori and Oram.
I dont think who will be elected for the MOM award. will be tough to predict.

Tony Cozier:

Well the WI once again went down without a fight and its really disappointing viewers. Whats ur opinio michael.

Michael Holding:

Well its another terrible performance from them and really poor start for Chanderpal as cptain, but he having a team that isnt prepared to give fight out there.

Tony Cozier: Well here is final scorecard. and the bowling stats of kiwis.

PRESENTATION CEREMONY:

Bob Willis:

Well i welcome u all for the presentation party for the first odi here in Antigua and NZ have emerged sound winners on for their resounding 104 run wins. Now i call up the losing skiper Chanderpaul. Well Shiv what went wrong for u after that great start.

Chanderpaul: Well we have to blame ourselves for the way we played after that wonderful start we got, the pitch too played its part, the ball was keeping a bit low and that laid us low.

Fleming: Well its a great win and i hope we will continue this win and continue the good work in our next match in Guyana. I think our bowlers did a great job and ofcourse fine conribution from all our batsman, specially Mcmillan and marshall.

Man of the Match:

Well Mcmillan was adjudged the MOM award for his excellent innings that helped NZ reach a great position, not to say that others were not considered, but Mcmillan emerged winner.

Well viewers the third odi will start in Georgetwon, Guyana and for it I have opted to use the latest patch by Tutsi, Version-8, Hope u all get an review of it.

Actually the Boss patch version 4 is going to be soon released, its really realistic, and really the cpu pacing is nearly superb now, hope to get it soon.

Great win for New Zealand. I am really disappointed with the performance of the Windies. They havent performed well at all this whole series (test and first ODI)
