WI COMEBACK BRILLIANTLY - MAR SHALL OUT FOR 92, update 50 0vers

Well Marshall got out in the 90's and everybody including the the WI supporters were disappointed to see his departure as he really played superbly under pressure.

Gayle was the successful bowler and his skipper was the fielder.

Mcmillan and Cairns hit the WI bowlers to all parts of the ground in their partnership as NZ were now going after the ball in the last overs.

After departure of Marshall Mcmillan played some lovely shots.

Cairns even came down to the track to hit this big six.

Powell takes 2 wkts in a single over:

Well Powell took two crucial wkts of Cairns and Mcullum both to superb outfield catches by best.

First Cairns hit a huge shot down the ground to see Best hold on to it just before the ropes!!!!!!!!.

The very next ball Mccullum tried the same shot and was caught again by Best.

NZ slowly losing the momentum here viewers.

Mcmillan is out thats a big wkt for WI.

Well Mcmillan was dismissed just when he was looking dangerous and thats waS indeed a great wkt for the WI when really everything is going NZ way.

Sarwan took this wkt and what a wkt it is WI are celebrating.

Well Oram and Styris hit crucial 4's in the last overs and NZ end up with 264 0f 50 overs.

Competitive score at end of 50 overs, but pitch looks fine one for batting, God only Knows.

Last ten overs produces 76 runs, 4 wkts. good stuff

NZ 264-6 50 overs, Marshall 92, Mcmillan 73.

Yes good score at the end by Kiwiz. A well played 92 there by Marshall, and some god hard hitting at the end by Oram and Styris.

nice score by the kiwis...hope the Windies will play as well as them...

LUNCH TIME REVIEW:

TONY COZIER: Well its a fine performance by the Kiwis to score a valid and competitive score of 264 on this pitch which even though is good isnt have a great deal of pace and bounce.

BOB WILLIS: Well i agree once they looked like they will end up with 280 or so therefore WI too have done well in the last overs to restict them to 264. Excellent innings by Marshall and aggressive innings by Mcmillan.

TONY COZIER: Well here is the scorecrd of the NZ innings.

TONY COZIER: Well this the batting stats and bowling stats so far. They have done very well NZ, but credit should also go to WI bowlers to get some crucial wkts in the end overs.

The two most productive batsman were Marshall and Mcmillan and this how they fared in their stay at the middle.

Hey Sriram,

I have no clue why the scorecard isnt showing the FOW. Its clearly there when you see the config files, but for some reason it does not appear ingame.

Anyways I'll try and by the end of the day, I'll send you the config file for the scorecard with FOW.

I'll then release a first full release of the patch on Monday.

SCORE UPDATE( 10 OVERS ), WI LOSE EARLY WKT, GAYLE ON FIRE

Well WI began their innings poorly with both openers Powell and Gayle struggling to put bat to ball so that only 12 were scored of 4 overs, Martin was very mean in his spell.

But soon Gayle frustration gave way for this shot.

Soon Gayle lofted Mills for a huge six over long on boundary.

Powell was the first one to be dismissed top edging a pull from Martin, a shot more of frustrations.

But Gayle continued to dominate and Lara too hit a lovely on drive to put WI in a good position at 10 overs.

Lovely ondrive from Lara.
