West Indies Tour of Australia 2010

Any young kid! Why risk Watson!

Hmm, I didn't realise Khawaja was still injured. Maybe Bailey or Hughes then?

Yes please :)

BTW don't call me Tum, my name is TumTum.

It's like saying TimTam without the Tam, or TikTok without the Tok. It just doesn't make sense. ;)

No, Tim and Tam are two different parts, your name is Tum repeated. Tum is fine.

Well can't argue with that, you know my name best :sarcasm Anyway I wouldn't want to go on your signature, who knows what you'll do with me :spy

Cooper? gimme a break, one good knock doesnt make a summer. Khawaja is injured so he's not in line now.
Several good knocks, one particularly insane one. He's got better 50 over credentials than Khawaja for sure, maybe even Warner when you look at how his consistency has gone out the window.

However, that's not to say I like the idea of rolling a d12 to select a random 23 year old. The top order has to be stable and the wrong 'engine room' can really cause your batting to stall, not delivering as good as it should. Two youngsters opening is massively different to having newbies at 5 and 6.

Another week off for Watson might have been handy, but I'm not sure it takes precedence over ensuring a series win. I think it would be worse even to finish 2-1 just because the team was missing both fit and injured players.

But yeah, Cooper's good as, he made a ton earlier in the year didn't he? When he gets his FC going, he'll be right.

Well if we win the next match then surely we can rest Watson and bring in Smith. If they need an opener bring Warner in for Ponting or Clarke who could do with a rest too.

If Paine fails today....Wade! And I'd be giving at least two of Ponting, Clarke, Watson and possibly Hussey a break if we win today.

And possibly a few of the quicks/Hauritz.

Geez that has got to be one of the worst wides you will see especially at Smith's pace. Easily beats the Harmy.

Shane Watson has grown into being an opener, and now you see him have more fun out there and free his arms early.
