Pretty good effort from the PM's XI. The beginning of something wonderful in Tom Cooper?
Could they have won if Hayden opened?
Short answer, no.

New kits?
I think the yellow caution stripes on his pants are to warn any runners to Watch Out!
West Indies captain Chris Gayle has boldly predicted a 4-1 win over Australia in the one-day series, which starts tomorrow at the MCG.
Buoyed by thumping 146 from 89 balls in Thursday's warm-up win over the Prime Minister's XI in Canberra, Gayle said his side had no reason to fear Australia despite their strong recent form.
"It's not (intimidating) to be honest with you, we're going to beat them 4-1 so not to worry," he said today.
The West Indies are missing a glut of injured experienced players, but Gayle said this series provided the chance for the region's young players to shine.
"It's an inexperienced team at this point in time, but at the same time there's a lovely opportunity for the guys to step up against Australia and make a name for themselves," he said.
Nice.
Gayle saying something dumb in the press?
This would be the 126th dumb press statement he's given. Seriously, its one thing to come across as cool and jovial, but geez he says some really idiotic things.
126th exactly?
Wasn't it McGrath that said 5-0 in the Ashes.
What did you expect him to say? Australia will beat us 4-1? I like that he has confidence to say that even without 4 starting players in the squad.
