It is a strong statement but its confidence that the young team needs. I think that if he had Shiv, Sarwan, Edwards, Taylor, Bravo and Barath he wouldn't make this kind of statement. This is a really young squad, not even close to full strength, so some confidence from their best players and captain isn't a bad thing. I know that if the WI lose he will get allot of criticism for saying this.

Could go that way considering the weak lineup the WI will have.
But I will look for positives here no matter the result. Pollard needs to pick up his game in ODIs and score runs, Ramdin being on of the senior members in this team also needs to score runs and take some pressure of Gayle. The bowling attack will also need to step up.

Can't see Australia beating another team 5-0 tbh, fully expecting the Windies to put up another dencent fight. It actually wouldn't surprise me if they were winning this series at some point.

Stupidity on the part of Edwards. Sarwan and Taylor seem to have allot of injury problems. Chanders has just played allot of cricket. Bravo broke his thumb playing in the KFC, Barath pulled his hamstring in the 2nd tests against the Aussies and is still unable to play. Benn is banned for 2 ODIs because of the Haddin/Johnson incident.
