It was exactly the same at Kanpur and Mumbai (where Zaheer got 5 wickets even on Day 4) but people stuck to just looking at the scorecard and labelling the pitch as dead. Do you understand now?

No I don't understand. SL batsmen had it easy whilst the WI batsmen are on a knife edge.

I know coz I have watched that Test.

SL had it easy? They did not even reach 300 in either innings at Kanpur and only got to 300 once at Mumbai, can`t see that being easy. Especially in the second innings at Mumbai, the wickets were all because of good bowling and not the batsmen throwing it away.

Anyway, lets leave it at that because I`m enjoying the way Gayle is batting.

Gayle is absolutely crushing Australia's pace bowlers at the moment, if he can carry the Windies through this innings then I think the Windies will have a good chance of getting a a respectable total here.

In your dreams :p

We have bowled poorly and so have the WI bowlers. Any other team could have done a better job :facepalm

I`m pretty sure Ishant, Zaheer and Sree would`ve done better. I back them in conditions like these (if what you say is to be believed:D).

Gayle to get out 10 minutes after tea. You heard it first.

I reckon' if there was anyone who would challenge for the quickest Test 100 it'd be Gayle for sure. Someone tell him its a Test match not T20 :o

EDIT: Hauritz is getting tonked. 6 from Gayle!

There is a little extra bounce out there, but I wouldn't deny that it's a great batting strip.

Also its hardly anything to do with the pitches when people like Gayle and Sehwag start teeing off. They`d do the same on a green wicket with obviously a little less probability to succeeding but even then, they have a good test match average.

2 Sixes for Gayle! I`m loving it.

Holy crap. 6 off Mckay. What the hell kind of shot was that? Down the ground!

71 from 43.

Haha. Looks like we got a KFC Classic Catch out there in the crowd.

Did`nt Shiv Chanderpaul score a 60 ball hundred or something against the Aussies in 2003? I remember watching that game live and that inning came when the Windies were in some strife.

100 for the West Indies here. 6 off McKay again from Gayle with no effort at all it seems.

EDIT: 21 runs needed from 7 deliveries if he wants to break the record.
