Now Slater is sticking up for it. It's unacceptable to do that on the field and was obviously due to the umpiring decision.
Exactly, its just not cricket. Him being new to the game, I hope they punish him severly just to get the point across. Part of what drew me away from baseball to cricket is the gentlemens aspect to cricket. Most sports claim to be a gentlemans game but cricket is the only one that truly is.
Allowing this nonsense will only slowly lead to the disgusting affair that is baseball where you can get up to the umpires face and argue like chimpanzees during mating season.
