David: " Well what a great turn around here, and what a superb bowling performance from the english men, in particular england's talisman Andrew Flintoff. A five for, always a remarkable all round performer. A dangerous bowling spell before tea, with only 1 wicket to fall, also Harmison coming to his own with 3 scalps, and england have a mini lead of 11 runs. Wow this is exihilirating!!!
England managed to pickup the last 7 west indian scalps for only 87 runs. The west indies wilted under superb length and line, although Vaughn should have set a more aggressive field when the wickets were tumbling, as a result a few edges which should have flew at catchable height, went to the boundary. Nonetheless, it was great. The west indies now have to bowl immaculately to restrict england a second time around, but its still not easy batting out there, so england still have to be very careful, as the test is still open, england still have to bat a few overs before the close of day 3...ur thoughts, Jeff?"

Jeff: " Well what can i say, what a remarkable spell of fast bowling by england's quickies. As i said you bowl length and line, put it in the right areas, and you will be rewarded. Just like that this test has tilted to england's favour. Flintoff, england's talisman with 5/39 and now england will need to capitalize. However they need to be very careful as batting on the 4th and 5th days are difficult, so complacency is not an option."

Mikey: " Well what a match it has been so far, and it seems to be a test match heading for a 4th or 5th day climax. England with that slender lead of 11 have bludgeoned the west indies attack in their second innings reply and are 134/3 at stumps are only 23 odd overs. Marcus played brialliantly to put them oncourse for a decent lead which should be most likely 300-325. Strauss, I felt set the pace, but was undone by a brilliant reverse swinger from Collins. The west indies need to keep it tighter and Brian Lara needs to bring on his spinners as early as possible on the 4th day, to get some vital breakthroughs to give his team any chance in this test. With Flintoff still to come, england need not be anxious, but should continue to build momentum."

Ian: " Yea true, they're ahead by 145 with 7 second innings wickets intact, and the thought of this pitch being very difficult to play on the 4th and 5th days, england should be wise to declare hopefully by tea to get in say 110 overs at the west indies, enough time for the west indies to win, provided a target of 350, but also enough time for a shut out by england. Remebering though, there is no Ashley Giles so the west indies, may still favour their chances. It will be a very interesting day's play on day 4 at the test, so do join us at 10 am."

Ian: " Welcome to day 4 of this first npower test match. today its bright and sunny, and we should get in a full day's play. England are 134/3 at stumps with an overall lead of 145 runs. It will be a very interesting day's play. Now down to Jeffeory for the pitch analysis."

Jeff: " Good morning to all, well this pitch will be a balanced pitch, with something in it both for the bowlers and for the batsmen. However by the middle of the day, it will harden and will take spin for the rest of this test. It should deteriorate, and will favour the team bowling last, which is england. An interesting prospect ahead.."

Mikey: " Well Jeffoery, its a very interesting postion now at lunch with england on 189/8. The west indies have dragged themselves back into contention with the session yielding 55 runs for 4 wkts. Brian Lara displayed good captaincy, by rotating his spinners Gayle and Dave and it worked. Now they need to keep on the pressure as the lead is exactly 200 runs. It is now becoming difficult to bat here."

Jeff: " Yea Mikey, it was good, disciplined bowling to keep the west indies in contention, Gayle picked a few as well as Dave, which is conclusive that the pitch is starting to wear. It will be a vital after noon session, with only 2 wkts to get, the west indies should begin their chase, I reckon 235 will be a good total for england to bowl at. these tailenders need to squeeze every last run here."
