yup...he can do that now...that guy is having a sensational year...just hope that the new year isn't bad luck for him...lol...

anyways pakistan started brightly and as ever all the batsman got a start but couldn't convert them into big scores...yousuf again to their rescue with a superb 100 and farhat was the only other batsman with some runs to his name...westindies bowled good and this doesn't look like a very good batting pitch to me as the commentator was saying over and over again...the ball doesn't come up to the bat and you can't score freely or play strokes...also there is some uneven bounce and swing...pakistani bowlers are way better than westindians and i think a score of around about 300 would be alright for this pitch...hope i am not wrong...lol...

What a year for Yousuf almost has the most ever runs in a calander year and unless he has a shocker he should get it. Another ton up for the great man.
Good fight back by the Windies though they could well bowl Pakistan out for less than 300 which you wouldn't have thought after Yousuf ton.

pakistan will surely have to bat again no matetr what the windies score(hope they collapse and fall like pins)

he only got out today due to a rush of blood and ball keeping low but he wont take this risk again

The man is already within 5 centuries of leading Pakistan in that record. It took Miandad 124 tests to score 24 100s, and Inzamam 104 tests to break Miandad's record. Yousuf already has 22 in just 74!

Yousef is a brilliant cricketer; Dominated the England bowlers both home and away throughout 05/06 despite being on the losing side in the summer. Wonderful to watch his gritty yet elegant batting and he deserves all the plaudits he recieves for his quite remarkable year.

9 centuries in one year would be truely amazing but Ponting may well break that new record if set as he has another 3 test matches this year and hes already got 6 for the year.

This Test match is his last in 2006 meaning he needs to get those runs that are left in his next innings.

Well Yousuf will definitely will have the most runs scored in one year Ponting would need alot more than a double 100. Shows how Yousuf converts his 100 into a big one while Ponting makes the 100 but doesn't convert it into much else.

The same amount as Yousuf, 11 tests both averaging in the 90s which shows how good of form Yousuf is in atm.

Pakistan have lost 2 early wickets this morning with the last one being Akmal. It's a shame as Gul is batting well atm. Pakistan have at least passed the 300 mark.
