Harbhajan Singh doesn't look like he will play the first match. I left out Bravo and Sarwan. I basically have the Indian batting lineup from 1-4. Still thinking about my captain as Gayle and Pathan are the guys I usually go with. Pathan is hit and miss with the ball, and may or may not bat at 3. Gayle is just plain hit and miss.

ok i have replace harbajan with agit agarkar, a real gamble on my part, if i was a selector, id have harbajan even if i was bowling into puddles. ill check just before the game in case they decide to play him, i stayed away from Munaf and R Singh because they are both still part timers, and Sreesanth will surely be back playing (but you are better backing someone who will play 100%). Even though Munaf will bowl well in seaming bouncy conditions of this ground, he will probably only feature in a couple of games as India (who will probably dominate) look to rotate bowlers while looking forward to the test series.

anyway thats my 2 cents worth...dont follow my picks, i havent finished in the top 10 for a long long time (too much of a gambler..ie Raina in for Lara)

oh and Dhoni is my captain, because hes real calipso at heart in the right place

i would normally go with Pathan, but something tells me that a batter will step up and there are so many bowling all rounders playing a bowler probably wont be a standout unless its Yuvraj or pathan so they get bonus spots.

my strategy has been based on consistent performers, because this team is for the whole series

Check the cricinfo preview that is about right. Taylor should be a definite after his recent performance. The rest could rotate around.

I always tend to do badly whenever I enter a FC with India as a team.
Never know when they can change their line-ups.

Actually the match is expected to start at 15:30 GMT. Too bad the registrations has been closed by now, otherwhile I could edit some players if they weren't playing.

Collymore isn't playing. What a shock. And my first problem arises: Dwayne Smith isn't playing.
