i've only looked at them, but that would be my bat of choice if i had the money, picks up real nice.

A lot lighter than my Kookaburra Beast which will hopefully help me to cut the ball better.

I picked up a Sommers Sx2 black edition about a hundred bucks off a few seasons ago. Still a great bat. Stoked it's in AC09

Same bat as mine, I use this bat when I'm looking to play more defensive innings. My other bat is a warrior custom made, it has a bigger middle than the newbury but isn't as light.

mine now has a royal blue octopus grip, despite its a Mjolnir SPS

I have myself a Laver and Wood weighting in at 3pounds 2oz nice and heavy. Great for playing off the back foot. Fast bowlers are the best, just have to get the bat in the way and i get runs. Cost me $400 AUD.
