Saqlain invented the doosra and used it to great effect himself as well as others who added to their game such as Murali and Harbahjan but Saqlain nor anybody else is going to take 19 wickets in a test match ever again. Tell me who left their mark on cricket the most?

You are correct on one count though that generations coming up will not even know who Saqlain was but know Laker cos he has that record.

Well, nobody will break the record. Trevor Bailey said that bowling attacks are more even from those days. Usually if one bowler is in the wickets, the other bowlers are as well so Laker will remain in cricket history for the end of time.

Saqlain has invented the doosra, which off spinners will use as their varitation and Saqlian will be remembered for that as well as being a superb off spin bowler in his own right.
