What equipment do you use?

I don't have anything except for a bat and a bowl

Can anyone tell me a good bat which lasts longer, is light and strong - Thanks :)

Thanx fardin and Indiancricketer.

I had a cousin who was in Pakistan for a visit and asked her to bring me a kit, or just a bat even, but she made all kind of excuses and refused to bring it for me. So I guess I'll have to wait till I myself goto Pakistan.

There are GM bats available in Chicago at places like video stores etc for $65, I don't how authentic they are but I need one just for practice since I am a bowler at heart and a tail-ender. Anyways, if I do get a bat from somewhere, do you know of anyplace that sells the rest of the equipment for a reasonable price? Y'know, like pads, stumps, etc.

I use a kookaburra bubble with a red grip, it seams to have done very well for me the past two seasons!

I use:
Woodworm Torch
Woodworm Premier Gloves
Woodworm Premier Pads
SLazenger Helmet ;)

I use:

Bat:GM Maxi Original and a Slazenger V600 Classic (depends what mood i'm in)
Gloves: Slazenger Panther
Pads: Gray Nicolls
Helmet: Albion
Thigh pad :Kookaburra
Cricket shoes: Duncan Fearnley
Whites: Duncan Feranley
Ball: Duncan Feranley/Kookaburra

That's it lol

As a player for Swardeston I use:

Gray-Nicolls Millennium Destroyer Bat
Gray Nicolls Australian Standard Helmet
Gray-Nicolls Longbow Batting Gloves
Duncan Fearnley Box
Gray-Nicolls Longbow Shield Leg Guards
Slazenger Pro Luggage Bag

Well, all this came to around ?100. A bargain really!

  • Thigh pad, stumps: CA
  • Abdomen gaurd: GM
