I never ever want to have to fire my gun at a human being but I sure as hell will protect myself and my property if I am forced to.

I can totally understand that. A few months back, some PoS kicked in the alleyway door - they were either going for my place, or next door - but I heard them, luckily. I swear to God, if I was living in the States, I would've shot those bastards. As it was, my objective was just to get rid of them, so I yelled at them from the upstairs window and they walked away. Sauntered would be a better word - they didn't run or anything. Clearly two guys who knew what they were doing and definitely two guys you'd not want in your house.

That sounds like a really scary situation MB. I hope I never have to deal with it, Do you live in a nice part of town?

My neighborhood is nice and segregated from the bad parts of town, any dodgy looking characters are immediately reported and picked up by the cops.

The Colorado thing is a shame, Colorado needs to reconsider the ban on CHLs they have.
