What Was The Last Thing/s You Bought? Thread

Bought in a hundred bucks into my sportsbook again :( Lost big on Pakistan today.

Used an Ipad today. Eh.
I'm posting from an iPad right now! :D I love this thing.

You call $700 USD cheap? :facepalm

I never really liked the MacBooks although I like the iPhones and use it just about every 20-30 mins of my life.

I bought an otterbox for my iPhone, seeing as I dropped it on cement the other day, and it didn't break (God knows how), so I decided to buy one - it cost Rs. 4,000 though, but I think its a good investment.
Considering matchbooks start at $999 plus tax, and the 3 year warranty is 250$, I think I got a pretty good deal snagging it for 700$. ;)

Are you upgrading to the iPhone 4?
What are the specs?

2.4ghz core 2 duo, 250gb hdd, and only 2gb ram, but it should be fine for the time being.

I don't care for specs tbh. Specs are nothing when the machine doesn't perform anyways. I had a HP and that was quite possibly the worst experience I had with a product ever. It literally burned my thighs whenever I used it. The computer itself started to melt. I went through like 8 power adapters (they're expensive too!!) and i wasn't even doing anything intensive.

Customer support was a pain, they did not want to fix it even though I was covered under warranty. It died exactly one day after a year of purchase. Absolutely outrageous.

My uncle works for HP down in the headquarters in Texas and even he told me to stay clear of their computers. He's a proud owner of a Macbook Pro ;).

I have had two rubbish laptops in a dell and an hp. hp being my second one, thinking they are very good laptops, my fan blew out within about 5 months of having it.

Remember - if you're planning any big purchases, get them before the VAT hike kicks in - Jan 2011. Just before I'm planning to get an electric guitar. :)
