As far as I know he and Nathan McCullum are the only spinners being considered for the
squad. Sodhi never played any ODIs, Nethula, Hiira and Nicol were not picked into NZ A squad currently playing tour matches in UAE.

All that considered I think both Vettori and N McCullum are pretty much locked to be in the final XV. Question is who from the 2 will be the first choice for the playing XI but I hope it will be Vettori

I predicted 26 out of England's 30 probables. Didn't get Jack Brooks, Craig Kieswetter, Stephen Parry or Luke Wright.

Brooks doesn't seem to feature much in one day cricket for Yorkshire, so I thought they'd go for someone like David Willey, who has been in England squads before.

Parry seems to have been picked because of a lack of decent seamers. No way he'll make the final 15 as he's the fifth spinner in line behind Tredwell, Ali, Rashid and Patel.

I had Rikki Clarke in ahead of Wright and Billings in ahead of Kieswetter. In both cases, I reckon that is a 50/50 call. Suppose the selectors recognise that Wright has done well down under in the Big Bash.

I wonder how close Trott was to being picked. He was probably best one day domestic player along with James Taylor last season.

Just checking Wright actually had a good one day season last year averaging about 50 over I think it was 6 games. Billings needs another season in county cricket I think.
