Verizon is a good option. It provides decent service especially, internet services. Its internet is much faster compared to AT&T.

Suggest me a decent enough model upto INR 15,000. I am planning to trade in my year old Xperia X8 as the internal memory is really sucking it up.

Hmmm... I'd suggest you to take Sony Xperia latest models. Samsung Galaxy Ace and HTC Wild Fire S are under the same price range, but Sony is better than both of them (personally experienced).

Most Xperia 2011 models are priced above 15k. 2012 models are around the same range as well. So no way that he has latest Xperias, except Xperia Mini P. I'd suggest the Samsung Ace Plus, or Sony Walkman. The LG E612(L5) is quite decent as well. Huawei Ideos X5 Pro is a great deal as well, but I doubt the availaibility of its service center
