Prior isn't a bad keeper batsmen IMO. The standard is obviously set pretty high right now but he does a good job.

You wouldn't just be giving them away though, you'd be replacing them. I'd be in a rush to bin McIntosh, Flynn and Guptill and bring some proper players in. You could swap 'em with South African's and bring in Smith, De Villiers and Kallis. Actually have a pretty quality side with just those 3 guys added in, especially if Bond and Ryder are fit. Imagine seeing:

I'd give India Alastair Cook, in exchange for Virender Sehwag or Gautam Gambhir. Not fussy, either one are far better options than Cook.

Yeah Chris Martin is definately needed, Especially now that O'Briens gone. We shouldnt be so harsh on the guy, he's there to bowl so it doesnt matter what he bats like.

What wrong has Kohli done? He is a good young batting prospect and he has done well with the chances he has been given. He has scored 3 50's so far 2 of which have been scored outside of India and he batted well in the second ODI to help rebuild our innings when we had lost our openers early on.

Ashish Nehra is useless, and Praveen Kumar is worse.

Bowlers don't need skill to get wickets in ODIs, all they have to do is bowl the ball and batsmen will get out slogging.

Kumar is only in there because he can bat a bit.

Kohli has talent, but he is a test player, anyone can average 25 with a strike rate of 80 on Indian pitches, he is not a one day player.

I think they call them One Day matches because meaningless matches are good places to blood youngsters who will One Day be good enough to play at international level.

Selectors often seem to think lack of age equals potential, have a look at the number of bog standard offspinners the English team has trundled out over the last decade and you will see what I mean. I think Nicky Phillips and S.J.Randall are the only ones who played county cricket and didn't get a game for England or England A.
