You have to drink quite a lot to die from alcohol poisoning/alcohol related disease. Consuming 10-15 units a week will do no damage.

How hard can it be? I've gone through 6 years of stupid French and I passed most of my tests.

The exception isn't the rule.

I will drink more than 5 at a cricket match, does that mean I binge drink at the Cricket?

People shouldn't be scared of alcohol, not everyone becomes addicted to it, in fact very few do in the grand scheme of the amount of people who drink.

Binge drinking is going out for the purpose of drinking, to drink as much as possible. 5+ in one sitting isn't binge drinking.
