Why was brett Lee batting at 3? He did well there he should bat up tehre every test match. is ti casu sth africa has a strong pace attack and he can judge pace well or is ti caus like he would get them offf to a good innings with him smashing balls?

I honestly don't know, but maybe they were experimenting - 32 Runs 4 Fours, which I belive is good enough for a bowler!

He was called in as a nightwatchmen. That's why he came in. But he surely is turning into a good allrounder.

As thbey said he came in as a nightwatchman. He came in late last night when Hatden lost his wicket so that another batsmen wouldn't be exposed to mabee going out and Australia being 2 down at the start of the day. He did pretty well. It was a good ball which got him.

I think the Pathan thing was a one off event, because Sehwag was out and they only had one specialist opener, but Pathan certainly rose to the challenge. I think he has the talent, and the time on his side to become India's "Andrew Flintoff", only much, much better.

(And yes, Lee was a nightwatchman. I was a little surprised, but then again, he is a reasonable batsman, It was his first time playing as nightwatchman.)
