Isn't it much better without the Caps & Helmets, we can actually recognize the players even when we are watching in You Tube. It was a deliberate decision on my part to do away with Helmets and caps, lets enjoy the game at the purest form.
@Solomon if we thought without Sir Venkat/Ashwin & Jadeja our life will be better, we are going to get a rude shock. It seems your skills are not dependent on player skills, that's great buddy. I will be surprised if you are not among Top 02 in UCC League.

I didnt got the time to go though the VCash system. As I am not very familiar with the concept can you tell me exactly what purpose will it serve? The thing is all these Online League are very unpredictable in nature in a way that any manager can leave these leagues in the mid way for any valid/non valid reason. We are trying to keep things as simple as possible, the more we will make it complicated, the worse it will be to manage things in the eventuality of someone leaving the league midway through the season. So, unless I am satisfied how the VCash is going to help playing experience better I would not like to jump on it for at least this season. Yes, we can consider it for next season.

Managers leave the league half way ? Yes, that can be solved by v cash system.

Take some amount from everyone and then you can do either of the two things :-

Option 1 : Give the respective amount back at the end of the tournament. But this option is a bit boring.
Option 2 : Use the amount to give away v cash prizes

1. champion of the tournament
2. fair play award
3. winner of each match (I have described the amount in my earlier post)

How this will help ? - When we bet on the forum, don't we check (sometimes regularly) the outcome of the bet. That means we are concerned about our spent v cash. So, any manager will think twice before quitting.

Also won't the v cash awards, spice up the tournament ?

But still, I as a fan of this league can only give suggestions. So, it's up to you and other managers to consider this.

Guys will you be interested for the VCash proposal been proposed by @lion100lion who though not part of our league (He doesn't have PS3) but is very enthusiast and interested about the successes & enjoyment we will derive by playing this League. He will take care of the VCash part (I still dont know what is VCash and what is the use of it)..

Kindly let me know by Sunday 2100 GMT so that we can take a call about incorporating the same in our league. This time I will give my Opinion last.

Same here, still trying to figure out what it mean. But didn't wanted to just reject the proposal outright without asking you people, as I thought it may have some merit and may be I am not qualified enough to accept/reject it.

Just tell me which line you didn't understand, from my post below...

For example, you take 1000 v cash (not a big amount !) from everyone.

Total amount received = 1000*10 = 10,000

Let us suppose that the winner of Tournament will get 3500 v cash and Fair play award will be 1500 v cash
So, v cash left = 10,000 - (3500 + 1500) = 5000

Each winner (i.e. of each match) will get 40 v cash. Since there are 90 matches, so Total expenditure here = 90 * 40 = 3600 vcash (This amount can be paid this after every round)

So, we remain with 1400 v cash. It's distribution will be as follows :-
Winner of Play off 1 :- 800 v cash
Winner of Eliminator :- 300 v cash
Winner of Play off 2 :- 300 v cash

1000 Vcash was just an example, you can take more.

There does not seem to be the interest for non managers to place bets on this like the Ashes 09 leagues, So what is the proposal here, the managers will place the bets?

I think he is suggesting we can use vCash as reward for Winner of the League/Fair Play Award, winner of individual matches etc, its nothing to do with betting. As per concept it sound OK, but is there any pressing necessary to implement this, that's what I want to know from you guys who are familiar with the concept of the vCash. I am completely novice as per as dealing with vCash is concerned.

There is nothing wrong with the system until and unless members value their V cash. @Acid Burn said that he finds v cash useless (I think he doesn't bet on the forums). So this system is not effective in this case.

Buddy its not that we think vCash is useless, its simply is that most of the guys here have not betted or used vCash ever (Including me) and dont even know what is the significance of it, how you get it and how one can use it...Its not that we have anything against your proposal, its just that we are not interested to jump into something which most of us are still not used to (using vCash)...We will consider it for the next season, right now we dont need this extra incentive to motivate us extra, we are already very motivated. But still thank you for being such a sport and be an active member of this league even though you are not part of it.
