IMPROVEMENTS IN KIT MAKING FOR MYSELF :P ::::

-- WIth england kit...I have learnt the way long sleeves logos need to be compressed vertically to appear right. I have also learnt about the right size of logos to be used. If YOU NOTICE IN THIRD SCREENSHOT under ENGLAND(bottom) you will notice that the line is correctly indented and FLOWS in the cloth. I spend little time making lines and LOGOS that feel FLOWING in the fabric. Overall SO FAR, ENgland kit is my best. :happy . --MAYBE-- I can get around to remaking the australia kit again...at the end.

-- The indian kit gives me a feeling of pride since India my motherland. I really miss watching cricket. :(..well! improvemets from this kit are the positioning of where the lines around shoulders need to be. This would be useful again for making the pakistan test kit.

-- I made this kit in less than 2 hrs. its taking less time to make the test kits. 90% of time is just to search for images and logos. actually make that 95% of time for image search :p. once I have the stuff....I have my reference layout and image resizing...retouches and should be ready for testing. :cheers

-- The pakistan kit is definately the kit I worked on the most. it took around 2 hrs JUST working on it in photoshop to achieve this. I already had images from rediff since the indian kit. In my opinion this is my best kit so far. :happy :onpc

yeh same, do you have cricket 2005? cos if you do you mite be able to extract the logo on that. i think this is possible because some people took the bats from BLIC and used them to help canhge the bats in Cricket 2005.

Did you get your helmet problem fixed (as mentioned on Codies forum), if you use the convert to PNG in Baggistudio and then convert back from PNG to dds the helmets seem to then import in Baggistudio.

Ste

ohh I did not yet. I will try that tip ste. thanx :)

Ste...I tried it. however now for the converted png -- dds files....the FILESIZE compared to the original ones in bag file changes DRASTICALLY. at the end my australia.bag with file size 1,151 kb changed to 1,010 kb. I got this change ONLY DUE TO THE CONVERTED FROM PNG TO DDS fILES. By editing the png directly I got one problem solved....I get my smooth antialiased hemet lines but now filesize prob is causing BLC crash.

Try using DXTexture. Its a massive download as you have to download the whole DirectX SDK and maybe the update to get it working. The links to it are in the first post on this thread. That will allow you to open an extracted .dds file and import a .tga file into it and will keep the same size. You will have to however import each size of the mipmap seperatly.

Ste

thanx for the suggestion ste. It worked. I mean in baggistudio also there is no filesize change...however IN WINDOWS EXPLORER. file size changed by 5 kb. however game runs fine now. thanx again. I finished my kit.

Note:: IF THERE ARE ANY TAKERS...I can upload it (send it to ste). :working

yes sorry! this was an older screenshot. the cap already had the coat of arms....now the helmet also has it in my final version. there is also an ascis logo on the trousers.

yeah! I sent Ste a PM asking him how I can send the files to him. As soon as I get a response. It will be up at planetcricket.

however I put it up at rapidshare.

click free button on bottom, then wait for few secs as it says then download.

links in first post.
