World Cricket League - Season 1 | Round 2

Bhargav made a post in the auction thread for Callum Ferguson and then deleted it. He cannot bid anymore for Ferguson.
He also did the same in Kallis' thread.

Bhargav has now done this thrice. As a penalty, he loses $500,000 from his auction money. Bhargav now has just $9,500,000 instead of $10,000,000 to buy 15 players for his team.

Rattlesnakes Buy All 15 Players As Per Auction Rules

The Raging Rattlesnakes buy 5 quality players at considerably cheap amounts which include 2 Indians, 2 New Zealanders and yet another Englishman.

Rahul-Dravid-kills-pakistan.jpg

Rahul Dravid - $100,000

To add stability to the batting order, comes "The Wall", Rahul Dravid for just $100,000! "Having some clean hitters like Ross Taylor, Kevin Pietersen and Albie Morkel, our team needed a batsman who can anchor the innings. And fortunately, we got a quality player like Rahul Dravid in our side" said Mr. Dwayne, the owner of the franchise.

Michael-Yardy_1661342c.jpg

Michael Yardy - $100,000

Nathan-Mccullum-006.jpg

Nathan McCullum - $200,000

And for the betterment of the bowling department, in came England's Michael Yardy, and New Zealand's Nathan McCullum, at $100,000 an $200,000 respectively. Two quality buys in just $300,000 came in handy as the Rattlesnakes had good enough to buy two more talented players.

First+Test+New+Zealand+v+India+Day+3+Hw2pAMBxvOyl.jpg

Zaheer Khan - $700,000

India's in-form strike-bowler, Zaheer Khan was signed by the Rattlesnakes at an amount of $700,000. "We now have another strike-bowler. First came Stuart Broad, and now its Zak! Any team would like to have a bowler like Zaheer in their side. We are really happy that we got him. We now have 5 genuine pacers, which will surely help our side by bringing in the variety!" the owner of the franchisee said.

daniel-vettori1.jpg

Daniel Vettori - $900,000

And the last pick of the auctions for the franchise was the Numero Uno bowler in the ICC top 10 bowler ratings, the Blackcaps Skipper Daniel Vettori. He was sold at a price of $900,000. "He brings in the experience and the edge required in the bowling attack. The spin wizard can change the game for us!" Mr. Dwayne added.

"Our squad has only five genuine batsmen. And as the auctions get over and we move towards the drafts, we will try our best to pick 2 batsmen and a wicket-keeper as those are the only slots remaining to be filled" Mr. Johnson said.

"And yes, I apologize to the Chairman of WCL, Mr. Yudi, for breaking the rule and withdrawing my bid on several players and I will surely pay the penalty!" Mr. Johnson added.
