Rubies sign Parnell and Clarke
Ruthless Rubies have completed the signing of South African all-rounder Wayne Parnell with a deal of $210,000. Parnell, a left-arm seamer and a lower-order batsman, had a pervious stint with Savage Sapphires in the last season. Parnell, who is currently playing for Africans in their ODI series against India, will arrive for the start of the domestic season. "I'm delighted to have signed with Rubies for this season. Having spent time with Sapphires last season, I know that there is a tremendous passion within the side to win games." said Parnell. "As a left-arm seamer, who is fantastic either with the bat, is an undoubtedly pick of the bunch." said the Rubies manager, Andrew.
Clarke was the other guy who was brought by Rubies with a deal of $610,000. Michael Clarke the vice-captain of Australian team has joined the team for second successful season. The 29-year-old from New South Wales has moved to Rubles to approach his batting technique. I feel a domestic season will develop my game further and hopefully, I can do my best." said Clarke. "In an ideal world we'd have chosen an Aussie player, and which is often a good feeling. And our search did not produce any outstanding, but Clarke is indeed an available talent than any other." said the Rubies manager, Andrew.
