Huge TNA News; iMPACT To Go Live In HD? Second Show?

TNA has had some discussions on iMPACT going live on a bi-weekly basis. The show would go live every other Thursday, and the taped iMPACT would tape every other Friday, to be aired the following week. This is being considered an "experiment" because the company as a whole has very little experience in live TV and their is concern that the shows only look as good as they do due to all the post-production work. TNA has tentative plans to do a live iMPACT on Thursday, March 27. The date would coincide with WrestleMania, as it's only a few days before the event and it would give wrestling fans in the area a chance to experience the product. There is also talk that when the change is made, TNA will start taping their programming in High Definition.

There has also been talk of moving the direction of booking in the company towards something more serious that focuses on the competition and athletic personalities of their talent, much more like the "Global iMPACT" special that was highly praised.

Meltzer also reports that Spike TV is interested in airing a secondary TNA show. The focus of this new should would be the TNA Knockouts. It would feature women's matches, photo shoots, interviews and more. The TNA Knockouts show would likely air on Saturday nights.

lol hornswoggle is just a totally funny guy. that mini royal rumble about a month back was hilarious. It'll be interesting to see who wins the raw elimination chamber match at no way out.
