Wrestling thread

I would have loved a one night only Flair/Steamboat match and it be the last match Flair has, it would be more then fitting as they had so many classics in the old days of NWA.

Who here is sick of Cena? Comes back from injury, bang, will win the title at WM and hold onto it till he gets injured again. Everyone else sick of this wigger's gimmick? Its so annoying and lame.

:D Hah I lol'd.

Come on, you don't remember Flair being apart of them? He would show his boobies at concerts.

Haha, nope. My Dad does but...He reckons hes been watching Flair since he was 10 years old (My Dad's American).

Oh and are you the same Majestic from Bigfooty? Because Im the Cena-bashing, "Jordan..." from Bigfooty. ;)

Yeah, I am, I got told to come here by iloveireland.

I can admit to watching to much wrestling I first started watching wrestling in 1989...and still going strong....damn I'm getting old.

So your Dad is American, you Mum is English and you are Australian?

An interesting combination there :p

Ron Simmons became a WWE Road Agent, upon his retirement.

No, he is in rehab for an unnannounced length of time before he will be returning to the ring part-time along side his job as a road agent.

I just did a search and saw that, I just thought he was a road agent these days, I apologise for that.

hey guys Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are going to launch a wrestling promotion. Here are more details:

Source: Wrestling Oberver

Hulk Hogan is just days away from launching his own professional wrestling promotion intended to compete with World Wrestling Entertainment, reports The Sun out of the United Kingdom. Hogan told The Sun that he and Eric Bischoff are very close to signing a television deal with a major United States network. Hogan commented, “Last night me and Eric were getting ready to sign a deal with one of the TV networks here in America. We had a little bit of a problem with the licensing and merchandising, which has delayed it. But I totally expect we’re going to sign the TV portion of this very soon, because there’s no point in starting any sort of wrestling organization without the TV locked in place”.

Hogan says after the television deal is locked, they will make an official announcement. Hulk went on to tell The Sun that the new product he and Bischoff plan to launch will be a product similar to WWE but he “prays to God it’s nothing like what is on TV now”, and even refers to WWE's product as "boring".

When asked what they plan on doing for talent the Hulkster said, “There are a lot of unhappy campers in the WWE and there are also a new breed of wrestlers that Vince McMahon hasn’t explored yet, that we have. And I’m in better shape than I have been for about 10 years”.

This would not be a traditional professional wrestling promotion - the idea is to have celebrities train to be professional wrestlers and then square off in the ring.

The show is being pitched through Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey's production company - which is responsible for Scott Baio's hit VH1 show.

From what I hear it will not be a fed, it's going to be a reality show with Hogan training celebrities to become wrestlers. Here's the piece I was talking about...

The new wrestling "promotion" Hulk Hogan has been talking about starting lately isn't really a wrestling promotion. Hogan and Bischoff have pitched an idea to several TV networks about a reality show that focuses on celebrities training and performing at pro-wrestlers.

CMT is currently the frontrunner to air the show. Jason Hervey, Eric Bischoff's production partner, was handling some pre-production for the show last week.

The other recent statements Hogan has been making, trying to make this reality show seem like a legitimate wrestling promotion, were probably said as a way for Hogan to get WWE's attention in hopes of getting a spot on the WrestleMania card.

The Bischoff-Hervey production company is behind the Scott Baio reality show on VH1.

Yeh, that's right. They just claimed it to be one for loads of hype to help themm get a tv deal

Could you imagine Hogan running a fed? He'd be the World Champion all the time and we'd see the return of all his little buddies like Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake.

That'd be scary. :p

Tbh i think we need the competition. If someone competes with WWE, it will bring back the good old days and make WWE good again.

I have decided to issue the WWE with the following letter after watching HeAT.

Dear WWE,

I am today issuing you with this notice that I am taking legal action over the brutal torture I endured during Jillian Hall's latest attempt and brutalising music. The World is not ready for a god awful noise like that, please refrain from having her sing, or having her torture lifestock during her singing.

Thank you.

The WWE also forced me to issue the following letter.

Dear Mr. McMahon

I am writing to ask if you would for the love of god buy Big Daddy V a bra, surely if you can afford 20 mil to give to some fighter no one cares about or even knows. You can afford to buy a wrestler a bra, if you can't I am sure WWE fans will donate to this cause because no one wants to see those floppy titties.

If you want to see his boobies so badly Vince, please do so in private much like you wanted to touch Stephi's boobies, I must say I am disturbed at your fetish for man boobies....

Sincerely

Dave a concerned and disturbed WWE fan.
