The next Wrestlemania is in Houston, the hometown of the Undertaker, and Undertaker has wanted Kane to be the one to end his streak but Kane turned it down Kane has also turned down a World Title reign (not the ECW one it seems!) citing he was "too old" Undertaker from what I hear does think of Kane as a brother even if they are not related they are very good friends and it seemed he wants to show that with Kane being the one to take the streak away.

Judging by this the streak next year will come to an end, who will actually end it we won't know but this is going to be Undertakers final WWE Title reign. So whatever happens Undertaker will be done in a year.

that really sucks! Undertaker's final year in WWE. I'll miss him more than any other superstar in WWE. I am huge fan of him. i have accumulated many of his famous matches, videos etc. though i still want to see the American Badass gimmick one last time. and even if the streak doesnt end the phenom will still retire

What are you on about? Two of the top young stars having a match with a storyline involved as well? What is not to like about that?

Young? Orton is, but Matt is not, he is 34 now and has proved to be a perenial midcarder.

People will respect Taker more.


There are too many reasons for a person to not like Hogan, and most of it came from his time in WCW and his creative control issues.

Because if a young star did it would push him into superstardom

That could have been the reason Kane didn't want to end it, since he feels he is too old to be pushed towards the World Title and is happy to let the young stars shine. That's a thing that makes me respect Kane a lot that he saw he was old, even though I would have liked him to have worn a WWE title more then the once, and more then one night.

But I would like to see a young guy take the streak, perhaps Cody Rhodes could leap out of dads shadow and be a main eventer by then.

34 is hardly old, look at Edge, he's still young in business terms.

Perennial midcarder? He's been screwed over ever since the Edge - Lita thing. When WWE realized that was going to blow up they were more than happy to give him the push and keep Edge happy.

Matt hasn't got enough about him to be a Main Eventer, as he has proved time and time again. Jeff, on the other hand, actually fits quite well in a Main Event scene because he does more daredevil moves

That's hilarious. Jeff hardy has very little actual wrestling talent. Sure he can do the odd daredevil dive but beyond that it's poor, hence his matches being very similar to each other. He doesn't even know what a mic is for, he'd be no where near the main event if it wasn't for this cult following.
