They got a really stupid gimmick going for Jericho. He has a hell of a lot of charisma and he can actually speak on the mike but they don't use that to their advantage. Instead they get him to do really crap promos.

Was coming. I thought he'd win it at Wrestlemania after winning the Royal Rumble tbh. I wouldn't say he's the best choice for champ though tbh. He's far from the best wrestler in the company. I'd definitely chose Edge or Triple H over him. Jeff does some impressive stuff, but he's not a brilliant wrestler, again just something to please the WWE's target market.

WWE could be so much better if they ditched the awful PG control that they've got over the product atm. The company's becoming more and more child focused, with guys like Jeff, Cena and Mysterio getting big pushes, leaving the talented wrestlers like Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Undertaker, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, MVP and John Morrisson getting either mid-card titles or very little exposure. Orton especially gets a very rough deal, he's not had a World Title for a long long time, yet he's one of the more talented guys in the E.

WWE's got a heck of alot of potential, especially with guys like Swagger, Bourne, DH Smith, Kendrick, Rhodes, DiBiase, and Marella coming through, but they're just not giving them the chance to truely shine, because of the ridiculous obsession with the likes of Cena, Batista and Jeff Hardy. If WWE binned this PG outlook they'd be much better, and could actually get back to the good old days, the Attitude era, but it won't happen. As long as Vince is pulling in the money things won't change.

TNA's not much better either. Every match ending with a low blow, heel's holding every title, Alex Shelley not getting enough ring time to shine. They're starting to do more things right though, limiting Samoa Joe's mic time, bringing Christopher Daniels back and also removing the X Division title from Sheik Abdul Bashir. The Frontline-MEM story is going pretty well as well, and will really heat up when Foley makes the inevitible heel turn at Genesis to screw Jeff Jarrett over. Kaz is back as well, playing the role of Suicide, and his 2 appearances so far have been very impressive, even if he somewhat messed up the finisher in his last appearance.

Things are looking up for the Wrestling business, but we still need to see improvements if it's going to get back to the WWF-WCW good days. Things going the right way though.

Does anyone know whether Gillian really is that lousy at singing, or is she just putting it on? I mean, being a 'performer' is no guarantee of a good singing voice: my Shakespeare teacher used to say:

'Play a note on the piano. Any note. Play any note and I guarantee you that I'll sing....the wrong note'. Man, that guy was a laugh!

Anyway, back on topic: does anyone know when Evan Bourne will be back (if he wasn't back at Armageddon: I didn't order it)?

Jeff won the title from Edge. Not Triple H =/

Jeff's a good enough wrestler to hold what's supposed to be one of the 2 most prestigous titles in Wrestling. He's got nothing on the sort of names that have held the World Title in the passed, names like Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Sting, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Angle, he's got nothing on them. Jeff's a Spot Monkey, he does a few spots every year, jumping from high buildings, leaping off ladders, swanton-ing people through tables etc, but his actual wrestling skills leave alot to be desired. Randy Orton should be World Champ if they were going to give it to one of the younger guys.

CM Punk's going to win the title in the next few months though, WWE clearly want him to be a Triple Crown winner. He's already got the Tag Titles, and is blatent favourite for the Intercontinental title. Just wish he'd bin the GTS, he can't execute it correctly, he's already broken 2 guys noses with it. Just a shame he'd not be able to use the Pepsi Plunge because of Triple H really.
