They actually call it sports entertainment. There are greater risks involved in wrestling than a lot of the other "real" sports.

Looking forward to the Hitman's return albeit for one episode only? He was the king when I used to watch wrestling.

Tonight is a very historic night that will be remembered for years. Monday Night Wars Part 2 begin Tonight, Jan4th. TNA Impact to go head-to-head with WWE RAW, Hulk Hogan makes his return on one and Bret Hart on the other.

Haven't watched wrestling in a while. Had to watch this week's RAW, just had to. They may have buried the hatchet but the fact remains that Vince, Shawn Michaels and HHH screwed Bret Hart, however much those 3 are willing to deny it.

Big Show and Jericho executed the Pedigree so badly. Their heads were so far away from the ground that it wasn't even believable.

Out of interest, and not having watched wrestling when that happened, but was the montreal screw job planned? Or is that why it was so big?

Yep, it was planned and Shawn knew about it weeks before.

So what does this mean? He stays for a bit longer?

The plan is for a Vince vs. Hart run up to Wrestlemania.

Yep, it was planned and Shawn knew about it weeks before.

However, Hart didn't, which is why it caused so much controversy as he believed he would retain the Championship.
Also, it should be noted it wasn't weeks before. The plan was executed the day before Survivor Series.

Jesus Christ! an hour and a half! I'll make it my pre bedtime viewing on the weekend :D.

So, has anyone watched the TNA Impact from Monday night? They went head to head with Raw and pulled out a pretty big show. Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair, Shannon Moore, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman (X-Pac), Sean Morley (Val Venis) and The Young Bucks (Indy tag team) all appeared on the live Monday night show or the taped Impact for next week. Obviously some of those will be around longer than others and some are on one-off contracts, but it was a big show.

But naturally the best bit of it was the main event which was AJ Styles defending his TNA World Title against Kurt Angle. If you can watch it then I would suggest you do, it was top quality.

I definately see TNA taking over in the long run, i think it's simpler than WWE vs TNA, it's basically For Children vs For Adults. I am very glad Jeff Hardy went to TNA will be much better there than in WWE.
