So, MS have done a 180! Sensible, MS - but that price is still stupidly high.

I won't be surprised if they are forced to revise their price as well. I think they are taking too many blows in media and are responding to ensure they can compete with PS4. Price is a very important instrument when it comes to competition. MS will not like to lose out on sales just for better margin.

They've done the right thing by dropping the restrictions but that doesn't take away from the fact they were money driven enough to think them up in the first place and then arrogant enough to say "get an Xbox 360" to people who complained.

PS4 is on to a winner I think. It's a smart system, really good price for a new piece of tech.

Agreed; if I was someone who had an Xbox One in mind to start with, that one article would've done irreversible damage to my opinion of MS and I'd change to a PS4 simply on principle - putting aside the fact that the PS4 is a better deal all round anyway.
