Your anticipated games of 2011-12?

Only game I was looking forward too is Witcher 2 and its finally here... Can't wait for next week for exams to finish and gaming season to start. :p
Witcher 1 was seriously good. True rpg. Its a shame I never got to finish it. I was 45 hours through the game when my hdd went bad on me. Didnt had enough courage to go through those battles again. :(

Witcher 2 isn't too much of a rpg - not as much as the 1st one was anyway. But the gameplay is a lot more realistic, and more advanced. It's one of the best games I've ever seen tbh, but the difficulty is a bitch.

I can play any rpg as long as its not a piece of crap like DragonAge2

I have not played the game but I have read many opinions regarding the difficulty of the game. Difficulty would be the selling point with the RPG enthusiasts as was the case with the Gothic series until Gothic 3 and Arcania.

Got NBA 2k11 few days ago, I've played a few matches and I must say that the game is just brilliant. I've started my career mode, will post my feedback on it soon. :)

My Career mode is great, although just be sure that you don't save and quit during a match, unless you've installed the patch.

New Zealand company Sidhe are making a game "All Blacks Rugby Challenge" coming out on PS3, 360, PC and the PSP2 sometime before the world cup.

Some brilliant screenshots were released the other day and some more today, they graphics are looking amazing for a rugby game.

Rugby Challenge

HB Studios are also making Rugby 2012 and the screenshots they've released look like they're off the PS1, it will be interesting to see whos got the better game-play because I think it's safe to say Sidhe's Rugby Challenge will easily have the better graphics and features.

Well Rugby Challenge have most of the rights to use player names and likelinesses etc so I think it's going to be much better than Rugby 2012.

Well they have the licenses that matter to us. Super 15, ITM Cup, New Zealand stadiums, All Blacks, Wallabies and Tri Nations with more to be announced. Hopefully they get some northern hemisphere licenses, I'd love to play a licensed Top 14 or Aviva Premiership, and there wont be any competition for those licenses as I'm pretty sure Rugby 2012 only has international teams. Rugby 2012 has the World Cup License but I don't think that really gives them much other than the name and probably the trophy and Jerseys.

I don't think I'll bother getting both games if the Sidhe one's clearly better.

I've read that Rugby Challenge have 31 Southern Hemisphere teams and more Northern Hemisphere teams than Southern ones so there will be quite a few from up there

Sweet, that's awesome. It's also very customisable so anything that's not in the game shouldn't be too hard to create.

The biggest choice for me will be PS3 or PC.

They also have a franchise mode in Rugby Challenge which should increase the playability tenfold
