I put your robin smith in my England all time eleven also I skilled and did his stats! If you wanna have a look through my four "legends" teams and edit the appearances I have no problem with that. For some reason three if them have been censored which I don't understand cos there's nowt rude about their names!

Come to think about it 2 more of my teams have been censored!! Chittagong fire(is that rude) and Kandy Kings Knights( other that the Krustys Komeback Klassic (KKK) I don't see what's wrong with that either!)

I've done (a young) Atherton and Flintoff - Atherton is impossible! Flintoff definitely passable.

Warne done - as with all uploads much better viewed in CA.

great job kasabian. they all look pretty great.

here is my attempt @ shane warne....a WIP...spent about 15 mins barely. did not pay much attention to the hair or brow colors yet. Other than that, suggestions welcome.

Good stuff! It's tough with players like Warne because there are more photos of him now then there are from years ago! I've gone for the 2005 Ashes Warne in mine....was tempted to do the skinny, botoxed, eyebrow-plucked version though!

If I wasn't in such a kind mood you would be in a lot of trouble.

1271 test wickets between them sitting in 2nd and 4th on the all time test wicket takers list. And they played together!

Pick any pitch at random in the world and these two in their prime would be the pick of most bowling partnerships that have played together IMO.

I'd love to hear who your pick would be. The West Indies had some good bowling partnerships but never had a decent spinner.

Good effort with Steyn Kasabian - the best that's around at the moment. Warne looks good as well. Israr's is also a great depiction - both from different eras.

I don't think anyone wants to see Warne how he looks now so hopefully we can leave that image in the lockers!

I only really remember back to Flintoff with a shaved head though so can't comment on him, nor Athers in his early years.

Number of wickets means nothing. They also have the first and sixth all time number of matches for bowlers.

In Chennai Warne averaged 39.46 with a strike rate of 71.7 and Mcgrath averaged 37.60 with a strike rate of 89.0. In fact warne, against India, average 47.19 with a strike rate of 58.47.

My bowling pair would be two of the west indians but if I had to have a fast bowler and a spinner I would choose one of: Laker and Trueman, Lohmann and Briggs or Benaud and Davidson.

It's a testament to their longevity as much as their skill. But even looking at their averages and strike rate McGrath has some of the best of any fast bowler and Warne also - and don't forget that Warne played half his matches on Australian wickets that are generally not conducive to spin, or seam/swing for that matter.

The context of the value of a particular wicket and the captains role in the use of a bowling team is everything, this cannot be represented in numerical form.
