I don't mind if I'm the 'original creator', but unfortunately this isn't the case. Very easy to download the player, make note of the exact levels for things etc...and then re-upload as your own - this has happened and I'm not arsed with that at all.

I would love to see an example of that, because that sounds like complete arse. Going through recent uploads of the players you've created...nothing appears to be remotely duplicated.

Really poor form to unshare your stuff. Seriously.

Still seems like a bit of a kneejerk reaction. At the end of the day I find the only thing that really matters is that the community gets the best stuff. The CA - or what I understand about it - isn't about personal accolades. Unless your profile is your full name all the public has is a moniker - 'kasabian21' - so I don't see what difference it makes. No money involved, no recognition; just a community of people who all want the best creations.

The head is longer and the hair is a different colour. Also the chin shape is different. Quite a few changes for a copier to undertake just to rip off your design. And from what snowy said, as it says israr is the original creator, israr's must be pretty close to that one I would say. If two people are creating the same player, there are bound to be multiple similarities, particularly if the two creators are skilled

Come on, let's not be silly now. You may think I'm greatly overreacting, but it is a clear copy, with my name nowhere to be seen? Does that annoy me? Yes. Would that annoy anyone else? Who knows. But as I said, hence why I made my point in the first place, stuff like this touches a nerve!!

There are plenty of other quality creators on here, like you for example, so the community won't be short!

I cannot believe that has happened at all. People will have put your players in their team, and get credited as original creator of the team, but not the player unless a bug has creeped in as happened before.

Nobody has the time or so little of a life to download a player, check what settings you've done and copy that exactly so they get credited, that is ludicrous. Get over yourself man.

The Academy is a tool to help us all get as realistic a roster as possible, and the rating system helps creators get due credit. Your work was excellent, and it's a pity your self importance and victim obsession is gonna deprive people of that.

Also, the academy has a report button.

As long as the team creators like Snowy, Blocker, Israr etc. use your creations there is no problem. You'll still get your name on the players that people actually use so it shouldn't matter. I'd say that that Steyn is slightly different as well. The creator probably thought it was a good idea to change a couple of the options and reupload it. Anyway, I don't think he was even basing it on your one.

Ok then, we'll agree to disagree. Although I don't agree with your withdrawal, I do understand the reasoning behind it and can see there's not much that can be said to reverse your decision. Ah well, there's plenty other fish in the sea...

If you hadn't had told me, I would have said the picture on the right was Michael Clarke. It is hardly a clear copy - especially knowing exactly how israr's original Steyn looked like (I had it sitting in my South Africa team for months). And that's not having a go, because I've acknowledged how good the rest of your creations are. I still want that damn Mark Waugh.

Do you think I'm happy that these guys have created teams with my players (and other creators) and made videos that give zero credit? Doesn't mean I'm going to take my ball and go home. Perhaps other people would like to use my creations and it'd be shitty form to post them, then take them down.

And even then, there is a way I can upload any other persons exact face, and it will still come up with a different original creator. Just a matter of mixing creations during the linking/unlinking process. Unfortuantely I used a Nezzo face, combined with my ratings, and it says I'm the original creator (and yes I did ask him about this and he was fine with it). There is no way of avoiding that - unless of course you take your ball and go home.

No two creations will ever be even close to be the same or even very similar - and I'm taking minor details here, simply because the human brain is individual and people see things differently. Go look on the server - no two of any player are anywhere near being the same and I don't mean generally here, I mean specifics.

In relation to my example, it's well and good saying, this is a little different, and this is lighter, yes, of course the person has made slight differences, but I know my creations when I see them. It's these small details that make it a clear copy, with a few adjustments. If it was from scratch it wouldn't be anywhere close to mine. And that goes for any creation. They are all vastly different, because there are so many options available within CA.

This isn't about crying and throwing my toys out of the pram. But if you think I'm guilty of that, then look at the reactions following it - exactly the same.
