I was thinking of giving him 2 batting nets for this season and then fielding from next season instead of second batting net. I only have two nets to spare. Advise please

Hmm...
2 batting nets for this season is good. Give him the fielding only if:
A) You get a spare net
B) Your team's overall fielding is weak
C) You are planning to make him NT team quality.

Otherwise, ther isn't much need. His concentration is already quite high, and his cons will improve slowly even without a fielding if you have some Sport Psycs hired. Wait till he is 20, then replace the batting for a fielding.
