Fight Night Round 4 Discussion Thread

All I have atm is a scummy board, scummy wheels and scummy trucks etc. I won't be getting any game for a while because I'm going all out and getting the lot. I'm thinking around a $60-80 board and some element wheels. Not really sure atm.

I absolutely adore this game. Been downloading people's created boxers from Xbox Live; i've got absolutely perfect models of Haye, Froch, DeGale, Witter, Khan, De La Hoya, Mayweather, Hopkins, Judah, Klitchkos and of course Rocky.

Awesome game. Really puts Undisputed into the shade.

One of the big positives for me are the training games are actually pretty fun unlike before. Still think they could make it easy to throw after the jab and the blocking, hayemakers and dodging stuff still need a bit of work but apart from that it's class. I think they should have an p
option to turn some stuff off and not allow it online because you get people just throwing hayemakers all the time. The download stuff is absolute class.

Spam body punchers online are worse. Especially when they're Mike Tyson and has stamina is seemingly infinite.

Hope they have a good soundtrack like in FN3. Went ino Gamestation yesterday and saw the gameplay and graphics, looks amazing.

The soundtrack is awesome. It's so much better than Round 3 in every single area.

I dunno Rob, there's already a load of boxers on there. Some of them are absolutely terrific jobs as well; As i've mentioned, the David Haye and Mayweather ones are as if EA made them.

This is the most epic game I've played for a long time. Won the amateur tourny with 3 knockdowns out of my 4 bouts. Then when I made the professional circuit I'm currently 5 bouts for 5 wins with 3 knockdowns. On the one above prospect now, career fighter I think? Nominated for Fighter of the year and prospect of the year. Haven't lost in the game yet as I won my 2 fight now games including winning as Ricky Hatton against this guy in the class above.

brilliant game. LOVE IT. Go buy.

Yeah got deleted for having a naughty word in it. Did you know they are still doing infractions?

What's the career mode like? Is it more realistic, like a real boxer's career? (PS3 version).

Career mode is a lot better. You go up levels, like you start as a bum or whatever and you go up through about 10 or 12 levels to get to a legend. But you need to complete goals to move up levels. Like at the start goals are something like: Fight on a wednesday night fight night, win % is over 60 , get popularity over 20% etc etc before it goes to stuff like win the titles and all that.

Scheduling fights is better, training is better, the layout is a lot better and there are a few more features like popularity and you get to choose from quite a few training options and it shows what it will imporve but also some stats will be decreased so you need to know the fighter you are up against next and train accordingly to get the advantage. You get to see your stats after every fight: Win %, Popularity %, Punch accuracy and a few more. So much better then Fight Night round 3.

Might pick it up once the PS3 gets fixed. So, there are lots of fighters in the game besides the real fighters (even if a lot are made up amateurs it wouldn't bother me, as long as they could all give you a good fight)?
