Mumbai has the most star players, but I reckon in this group a not expected team will go through.

My prediction is Guyana will go through along with a non-IPL team.

And I feel Guyana will be able to produce another Pollard in Jonathan Foo. His last 5-10 ball show really changed a participating team in this tournament. I thought it was Barbados all the way but this guy was simply unbelievable.

Not a bad group for SA, they will need a batter to stand up as their two x-factor ones from the Big Bash aren't there, bowling has the x-factor in Tait and Christian has a handy knack for picking up wickets.

I personally feel that Redbacks and Mumbai Indians will qualify from here.
But Guyana can manage to surprise us all!

If form continues then Bishoo should be one of the better bowlers in this tournament.
Allot will rest on Dowlin, Doenarine and Sarwan. They will be counted on to get a solid score on the board before Foo comes on and scores some quick runs and hopefully he does. Guyana's weakness is their pace bowling and in South African conditions that can be a worry.

Bangalore for me, easily.

1. Jacques Kallis <-Saffer/Legend
2. Manish Pandey <- Scored a ton in SA
3. Rahul Dravid <- Legend
4. Ross Taylor <- Awesome T20 player
5. Robin Uthappa <- Was on an absolute blitzkrieg in the last IPL and is more determined than ever to get into the Indian team
6. Virat Kohli
7. Praveen Kumar
8. Vinay Kumar
10. Dale Steyn <- The best bowler in the world/Saffer
11. Anil Kumble <- Great captain, great bowler, legend

If Shaun Tait shows up bowling at 160, I'm hoping the IPL sides get a hurry up.

Mumbai Indians FTW.

Sachin Tendulkar will score a century :p

He did play in the IPL this year and his performances were`nt flash. In fact, he got dropped for the latter part of the IPL by Warne. Sure, the wickets would be more helpful in SA, but its not like teams have`nt faced him at all.

ROFLMAO!!!
I don't think he'd ever get 160.
and he was a flop in IPL-3, though it were flat pitches, but I don't expect him to do any wonders for Redbacks.

though I think MI/Redbakcs/Highveld will go through.

Solid.

Hope Pandey and Foo have good tournaments.

Bangalore won both their warm-ups, beating Central Districts and Victoria. Without Dravid and Kallis. Uthappa(53*) and Pandey(40) starred in the win against the Stags, but haven't seen any scores for the other match. Ingram hit 63 for the Stags, iirc. Hope Bangalore haven't peaked too early though.

Good to hear that Robin's getting some runs. Just recovering after a major surgery and what not so I hope he gets into some sort of form. He's still young and can be a great player.

Yea IPL 3 was basically a big sign to the selectors not to pick him for WC2011. Not that he has the stamina to play 50 overs anyways :p
