Murali is out for 6 weeks. Thats a big blow. but SL can have an all rounder for him coz guys like Jayasuriya, Chamara Silva and Dilshan bowl really well in T20 games.

On Sky Sports (I think it was that one), it said Bandara is expected to take over his role.

Is he any good, Lankan fans?

I've seen Bandara bowl. He seems to have potential but just lacks experience and control. He's a leg spinner.

I can't see SL putting Perera in the side. He leaks runs.

And Sri Lanka have enough spin options to cover for Murili but they'll defiantly miss him.

This is not the bowler Perera.

Dilruwan Perera has never played international cricket before and based on his statistics you can see he is an allrounder: http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/ci/content/player/49920.html

And Muralitharan can actually still play.

Murali could yet play in Twenty20 Championship

I don't think Murili will play though.

And sorry, my mistake. It's confusing some of the surnames of the Sri Lankans. Or Asian sides in general I guess.

Huge blow for SL losing Murali who would have been very economical in this form of the game. Would have been interesting seeing Fleming v Murali take 2 but neither are there.

I wish I had footage of the game where Fleming hit Murili for like 6 or 7 sixes. :(

Why not check out footage of some old India vs Lanka matches.

Mohd.Azharuddin and Navjot Sidhu used to clobber the spinner.I belive this was in Sharjah.
