McCullum is opening the innings with Vincent. This will defaitnly be one of the more dangerous opening combinations in the competition as both are natural aggressive players.
Hopkins will be wearing the gloves. McCullum will be fielding. They're making use of Hopkins death batting ability and domestic twenty/20 form and record and McCullum's agility in the field.
Oram will bat at 3 for a left hander up the order and to give him full chance at getting in.
All 3 are fantastic moves. Well done coach and selectors.
I think this is a great and positive move by the New Zealand selectors. They have given a new kid a chance to get some international experience and push Oram, who is a massive hitter of the ball up the order. Now the selectors just have to hope it pays off.
