Guess who's baaaaack... turns out it's a lot easier to be active when your computer isn't deleting all your cookies every day just for the C drive to function. (Seriously, how'd I miss that for two whole months?)
Anyway, with uni having wound down for the year (and completely stopping after an exam on Friday), I'm going to get back to hosting a couple drafts.
With a twist.
This will work exactly the same as the OG RNG draft (rules are below)... except the only players eligible will be those who have played in the 21st century, and you'll only get ten players per screen. And I removed the nation filter. Hopefully nobody gets ten Austrians!
update: format is T20. don't know how I missed that lol
RULES:
1. I'll filter Cricinfo's search to include all players who played between 2000 and 2022.
2. This will result in an x amount of pages (for this draft, 394).
3. FOr each participant, I will use random.org to generate what page they may select from.
4. I'll DM each participant with their options each Sunday AEST. They have a week to DM me back.
5. Everyone's RNG list, and pick, is revealed on Saturday, and the next day the process repeats.
The only selection rule is you can't pick a player taken by another team already. Though with over 500 pages to choose from, you'd be ridiculously unlucky to have that happen to you.
Unlike the Next Level RNG draft, you can put players anywhere in your lineup, as well as moving them afterwards.
Note: the link to the relevant Statsguru filter for anyone who wants to scout (or for me when I inevitably forget it) is https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/e...;spanval1=span;template=results;type=allround
Just put a message into this thread if you're interested in playing. I'll start either with eight signups or in four days' time, depending on which comes first.
Good luck; may the numbers ever be in your favour!
