To be fair it was reported in multiple Pakistani media outlets a week ago, Hafeez becoming chief selector.
Don’t know about the ODIs against SA/Australia, and i am skeptical that it would happen.

I think NZ will be the team that underperform the most this WC, not too many players in great form and Bracewell being ruled out pretty massively dents their balance ( Who would have thought lol)

Last WC they went in with a clear approach, play conservatively and let Williamson and Taylor take them to a par score and then the bowlers would not give the opponents anything. Don't see that kind of structure this time
