Why not have them as coaches/mentors instead? Unless, of course, Babar doesn't want them...

Pretty sure Babar’s not on good terms with Malik. Not sure about Hafeez but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the case there too.

Honestly, with the off field antics, I fear the quality of games could be very poor in the Asia Cup. I'd rather they scrap it entirely and play with other nations in the lead up to the World Cup.

I don't think disastrous- they may not make the semis. Given the nature of the tournament and the fact that they can have a few bad games + Other teams can screw up their own results(like Ind did in 2019) to keep them out

They have a decent one day team to do well in these conditions, IMO they will definitely make it top 4.

Their team is ideal for subcontinental conditions and have a better chance than India IMO.

I don't think Pakistan having a disastrous campaign is as out of bounds as some may think. I do think we have a very decent, settled side, and we'll be playing the World Cup in somewhat familiar conditions that suit us, but that's exactly what happened last T20 WC in India. I do rate this side better, but it is entirely possible we'll still combust.

We are Pakistan after all.
