I've passed over a whole selection of top players to get to Hobbs - Ken Barrington, Andy Flower and Richie Benaud are all favourite picks of mine in any draft where they're eligible, but now I can't go back for any of them. Worth it though - I welcome into my side an opening batter who averages almost 57 in Test cricket, and who backs it up with a total of 199 first-class centuries. A huge pick-up, I'm really happy to have him.
