Match called off considering the rising tensions on the border. Counting the remaining matches- seems we have 7 matches in cities that are in the Northern part of the country and could be prone to attacks (Ahmedabad, yes- cause that will be a favorite target). I will add in the match at the Wankhede as well, just for safety.
1. Lucknow v RCB at Lucknow
2. Punjab v Mumbai at Ahmedabad
3. Delhi v Gujarat at Delhi
4. Gujarat v Lucknow at Ahmedabad
5. Mumbai v Delhi at Wankhede
6. Rajasthan v Punjab at Jaipur
7. Gujarat v Chennai at Ahmedabad
8. Lucknow v Hyderabad at Lucknow
What can the BCCI do here? Shift the games to South Indian cities, where the security might be more. Pune, Vizag, Goa, Nagpur could be better options here. Logistically, it wont be a nightmare as these cities are well connected and it should be easy for the BCCI to make teams travel around. The game at Wankhede could be shifted to the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai as well.
For the rest, I think it is quite okay considering that the Playoffs are in Hyderabad and Calcutta.
