Another Wicket Goes and Now Mumbai are really on top

That was an awesome catch by Dhawan

With all the sundries, they only really needed batsmen to score at around 130. Sarwan held the innings together quite nicely, but the openers have had the net effect of batting 4 overs for 7 runs. If they'd scored 25 more, then Guyana would be needing less than 50 from the last 5 overs.

Pollard did really took the match away...

:facepalm

Right, so they've got this guy who has scored 104 runs in 55 balls coming in as a specialist no. 7 batsman with basically two overs left.

Geez that was a brutal knock, will be interesting seeing how KP goes higher up the order in future matches.

The Guyana bowlers were bowling at speeds comparable to club cricket here in the US. Pretty pathetic, even the spinners were in the high 40s

I doubt. Only if Indians get a good start, he'll bat up the order. I guess KP will come in at number four or five if its not a batting turf. :)

That was hell of an innings from Polly, Enjoyed it. Guyana were really looking prett average team.

Is Jonty Rhodes the fielding coach of Mumbai Indians?

If so, they are not really paying attention then.

Sorry in advance for the rant, but I would love a dollar for every time they showed Jonty. WHO CARES ABOUT FRIKKEN JONTY???? So he's a fielding coach...big whoop, so he's a former player...big whoop - none of them have ever taken up coaching /massive sarcasm

It's just the commentators have no idea who even plays for Guyana so they have to keep babbling on about the Indians all the time. I was seething by the end of the game at the total one-eyedness. Whenever a Guyana guy hit a 6, the comment went something like "great shot, but not as big as Pollard's" which, while true, was a great way to deflate whatever was happening on the field and turn the conversation back to more Mumbai Indians issues. Another example: when Tendulkar was batting he backed away and slashed, got a nick and was millimetres away from being caught behind - really close to carrying to the keeper...yet Sanjay Manjrekar DIDN'T EVEN MENTION IT!!! He was too busy going on about Tendulkar's 'mindset' or some other crap to even comment that he'd almost just got himself out :facepalm Even when Ian Bishop was in the box, the talk rarely went to the Guyana players. It was awful. And it hasn't been just for this game: last game against SA Redbacks, Daniel Harris pulled off a COMPLETELY AWESOME diving catch on a high swirling ball - one of the best I've ever seen. Yes, there was some momentary lauding of it at the time (but not a lot ), and I think they replayed it only once. Yet they showed a Pollard six from 5 different angles...

I can't believe I'm hanging out for Bill Lawry again - and he's a blithering idiot :p
