There is a difference here, vaas has been one of the great bowlers SL have ever produced, to choose him in 30 and not in main squad would be like an insult, same goes for Jayasuriya.

And If they do so, don't expect them to win the world cup or reaching semis.

Shuvo and Ash will come up for Jahrul Islam and Alam. Although I'd rather have Islam over Ash. Shuvo has to be there.

Well Sharpova goes out, and Shuvo in! And NO! Jahurul stays. He's been treated like crap. 1 or 2 matches here and there, they never let him settle down.

He is back up keeper, who can open, also batted as middle order/finisher. Ash = (lets not)

Jahurul can replace Imrul (2), Rahim (6) and Roqiubl (4). He offers a lot. Just need few chances.

India 30 man squad announced. Dravid and Irfan ignored. Good to see selectors being bold enough to not include dravid but excluding irfan, not sure if its right.

Its not about being bold. The WC is being played in our country. Dravid hasn't played in an ODI since 2009 wherein he was brought in for the fast pitches of SAF.

Irfan-again he has not really shown his potential in the domestic arena, would have been a big gamble to play him in the Cup in such a case.

An exclusion that really surprises me is that of Robin Uthappa, who has been in good touch and could have doubled up as a keeper as well. Seems like, KKD will get through to the final 15 in this case.

4 keepers is definitely a waste. Had they picked Uthappa instead, they would have still made it 4,but with the option if a hard-hitting batsman as well. My only fear- Ravindra Jadeja must not be selected in the final 15. I'd vote for Yusuf over him any day.

I would have the exact same 15 as AkshayS.

Piyush Chawla was never in my contention for making into 15, but his standalone performances for UP this Ranji season makes me want to have him. Tough decision to leave him out.

Parthiv should be picked ahead of KKD.

You would be wrong to pick Parthiv on the basis of his performances against a poor NZ team,that too, when India had the unassailable lead in the series. I'd still pick KKD.
