2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Australia

Bruh back in the day when I was an ardent Anti-Indian fan the SCG was like a sub continent pitch, slow spin friendly. Oh my how times have changed!

My brother in Christ you still are one.

SCG hasn't been spin friendly in eons, it is a myth that Australia have propagated to lull every opposition side to trust spinners more so that they can whack them happily. They've even got local man Lyon in the act to fool everyone further. If you consider the SCG to be a subcontinental pitch I genuinely wonder when was the last time you watched a cricket match.

India will win this tournament. Too many things going their way for it to be a coincidence. Just a gut feeling.

We just got thrashed by South Africa in the last game. Sure this Indian side is strong and their weak bowling has only been partly exposed in one game so far but there are still several holes to plug in this side before I'd call them winners. Would love it if we do win it though at least for Kohli and Rohit's sake.

Preferring Ashwin over Chahal is a big mistake India is making. I feel like England is winning this worldcup.

Ashwin played today probably because of the lefties in Bangladesh lineup and the batting depth he offers. I agree that playing a finger spinner in Australia is asking to be smashed but Ashwin's skillset is quite unique and no one else can really replicate that in the side. Him and Axar do have a decent history of bowling together too and covering for each others' weaknesses. I'd say we need to trust Axar more with the ball, think he's only bowled two overs so far this tournament. Ashwin the fielder is better than Chahal IMO too, at least I know I'm not going to get a dropped catch that easily with the former and he's adequate at runout chances too.

It’s more of a "luck is completely on their side" argument

Shakib really handled this well, shameful from the journalist trying to bait him there. Gotta say that his emotional maturity really surprised me in the game and after it too.

Not disagreeing, Rohit seems to have found Finch’s lucky charm from last year so far. Funnily enough I’m sure serious fans of all the three favourite sides at the moment (India, NZ and SA) wouldn’t want their side to win as they know this will be used as an excuse to show that their system/model works and continue to resist meaningful reforms.

Afghanistan 51% o.O

On the flip side correct me if I’m wrong least India and SL were known for slower pitches, now most of the Indian pitches have been doctored into roads?

My interest dwindled, with India winning across all formats life as an anti-Indian poster became very difficult. Honestly I just dont got that passion for the game anymore, though I did watch through a couple of these T20 matches going on now in the WC. I sincerely hope no
cricket fan rid their passion like I did. Bevab in those days as prime Satan666 I brought out a fire in all the Indian posters…to this day most of them realized what my game was all about and believe it or not the guys from that era that are still active today always show a mutual respect.
