2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Australia

On the flip side correct me if I’m wrong least India and SL were known for slower pitches, now most of the Indian pitches have been doctored into roads?

My interest dwindled, with India winning across all formats life as an anti-Indian poster became very difficult. Honestly I just dont got that passion for the game anymore, though I did watch through a couple of these T20 matches going on now in the WC. I sincerely hope no
cricket fan rid their passion like I did. Bevab in those days as prime Satan666 I brought out a fire in all the Indian posters…to this day most of them realized what my game was all about and believe it or not the guys from that era that are still active today always show a mutual respect.

Sri Lankan pitches are ones where you need three spinners these days although they’ve become more swing friendly in comparison to once. Southee, Lakmal and Anderson all have good performances there. Indian pitches are more of a mixed bag now, they used to be very spin friendly a few years ago but now plenty of them are batting surfaces that has something for spinners and seamers who bowl a certain way. Still got some spicy tracks like Chennai and Ahmedabad though.

I wouldn’t call any pitch these days as a road in test cricket honestly. The reason why everyone was riled up on Pakistan’s home test pitches was because of how anachronistic it was to have a true road again. If it were a test from the 2000s it would not have even been a talking point. Most surfaces now are very bowler friendly and the roads of the 2000s are but a relic with a few exceptions (like MCG on boxing day).

Fakhar's out of the tournament now with that same injury. Pakistan's injury management as impressive as ever.
I was thinking about this. He was injured pre-tournament. He got brought back into the squad and now he is out because of injury?

Shaheen strikes me as the biggest mis-management. What was the need to hurry him back for the world cup? We have an ICC tournament every year now. We have 2023 wc next year, champions trophy following year followed by another T20 WC.

If that kid’s future is ruined just like a lot of bowlers that I have seen, it would be a shame. Love watching raw fast bowling talents like him.

On this front while I was pissed Bumrah missed the WC but glad we are not forcing him to bowl half ass!

And they are back at it again!

Bangladesh accuse Kohli of 'fake fielding' during tense India victory

Wow...I'd like to take back "they are getting civilized" comment. They clearly don't. I've been listening to some of their news channels and boy oh boy..the are at it again! ICC beat us, Umpires favours India, We're forced to play in Wet outfield..etc.etc.
83 from 54 is very much gettable with 10 wickets in hand. That too when Indians fielding in an wet outfield. They made mockery of their own potential and now again at their loser mindset. Surprised to see even some Pakistani joining in the frey with comments like.."ICC should dent Indias monopoly, Why don't just hand India the trophy, Virat always cheat and gets away, umpires dare to go against India, the game could be called off had India not playing that or winning by that point, Some luck always favors India...irony or deliberate?.... " so on .

Utter loads of Rubbish really. Being a fan boy is fine but being a brainless rear end is something else... I'm a fun loving guy but these nonsense are getting on my nerves too :(:rolleyes

I agree with everything except Virat cheating, even in the game against SA he was the only innocent player, obvious the umpires got some big ones to hand India the win today.

Yeah this one is ridiculous. Virat is probably the only genuine and honest guy in that team.

I don't get the 'wet outfield' claim tbh. If the outfield was wet, it should aid the batters and not the fielders.

Litton slipped cause he ran on the grass. If Bangladesh wants to pin the loss on that event, afraid they'd never come out of this mentality.

On a more serious note, Nurul's press conference and accusations on India mean that he will be the front runner for captaincy and perhaps later on, BCB Prez as well :grinning:

Also a Pakistan win atleast makes the group interesting for next few hours. I am finding this funny but what if South Africa actually loses to Netherlands and both India & Pakistan goes through to the Semis. :lol

Similarly India can also lose to Zimbabwe and Pak & SA can go through?
