2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - Australia

You've ought to feel for Hasaranga who was forced to be Sri Lanka's best bowler because they lost their main bowler before the actual tournament started.

I can understand Shanaka not wanting to use Kumara earlier in the innings because of the absence of Binura and not having another death bowler. But he should've brought humself on earlier considering Hasaranga was having a poor day.

Theekshana taken off the attack after his very first over despite taking a wicket was another questionable decision!

Nissanka did his best to lose this game for Sri Lanka but Finch would be disappointed of failing to do it for Australia despite a better effort! :p

Btw it is worth appreciating the fact that how Stoinis have transitioned himself into such an effective middle overs slogger in the last 2 years after how he failed for years doing it.

Couldn’t even fill the stadium in a World Cup game at home?

Saw a clip of Bandara's catch, there were some empty seats, seemed 70% full at most
So read it was 25000 people, almost equal to the crowd coming in to see warm up matches. The reason was a mid week game as mentioned on a lot of website. So based on 25000 people, not even half full as the capacity of Optus is 60000.

Mid-week is no excuse for a World Cup
