Mid-week is no excuse for a World Cup

When you have a damn World Cup every year/ 2nd year, the public interest wanes. Imagine having a FIFA world cup every year(perhaps 20 min matches)...Doesnt really strike a cord with the audience. The reason why the 50-over cups have been successful until 2007 is cause they didnt try and overlay competition after competition every year that time.
