If they win: they can only win if DC lose (and RCB loses; or doesn't win by a large enough margin)
If they lose (or its a tie): they can not win
Yes we need to win and Delhi has to lose for us to win. RCB doesn't matter if we win and Delhi lose.

@Till Valhalla

disappointing loss, that was terrible batting
but i hope we finish our campaign on a high note and hopefully qualify to AKT

Been a great run, winning 7 out of our last 8 games always kept us in with a chance but im afraid the nrr barrier is too high for us to cross now. Good time to give to chances to players who havent gotten many.

Sunrisers Hyderabad end their 2022 Indian One-Day Championship campaign with narrow victory over a semi-second-string Mumbai Indians.

Sunrisers Hyderabad opted to bat first after winning the toss, going on to amount 295 for 5 in their full 50.0 overs. Babar Azam headlined the innings with his fourth hundred of the season. His 130-ball 114 was the backbone of Hyderabad's innings. Deepak Hooda let loose up front, striking 6 fours and 3 sixes in his brazen 70. Hyderabad lost their way in the middle with Rahul Tripathi, Rishabh Pant and Marcus Stoinis failing to make an impact. But a strong finish from Washington Sundar salvaged Hyderabad and took them to 295. Moeen Ali was the only bowler in Mumbai Indians' attack to go wicketless, every other bowler claimed a scalp.

Mumbai Indians fell 19 runs short of the target despite a show of brute force from Jimmy Neesham down the order. Mumbai's top-order didn't have as great of an impact as they would've likely wanted to make this run-chase successful. The most glaring eyesore was Rohit Sharma's premature dismissal, caused by a Babar Azam run out. Mumbai recuperated but Sunrisers Hyderabad kept finding wickets at pivotal moments in the game, disallowing Mumbai to really settle in. A stern fifty from Ankit Bawne and the stonewall presence of Aditya Tare helped Mumbai regain some footing, before Jimmy Neesham let loose to strike Hyderabad's bowlers for quick runs in later overs. A valiant counterattack, which was ultimately undone by phenomenal death-bowling, leaving Mumbai 19 runs short of the target despite a show of brute strength from the Kiwi.

Bottom-rung Gujarat Titans stun third-best team all season with a thumping 7-wicket victory at the EKA Arena.

Royal Challengers Bangalore amassed 341 batting first on a road-like EKA Arena turf despite a ghastly start to the innings. Nicholas Pooran, playing his first game of the season, top-scored for Bangalore with 121 runs off 87 deliveries in an innings that consisted of 16 fours and 2 sixes. Gurkeerat Singh Mann continued his charmed run with a knock doused in 6 fours and 5 sixes to add 87 runs from 74 deliveries. Pooran and He added 181 runs for the fourth-wicket to be Bangalore's mainstays following a rare top-order failure. An unbeaten fifty from Anukul Roy and amongst a few lusty blows in the later overs pushed Bangalore to 341. An intimidating total even after a somewhat lackluster finish. Bangalore added 61 runs from their last 60 deliveries courtesy of some brilliant death-bowling from Gujarat Titans' bowlers. Sagar Udeshi was the only discernible blemish on an otherwise impressive bowling performance from Gujarat, keeping the nature of the pitch in mind.

Gujarat Titans chased Royal Challengers Bangalore's target of 342 with 7 wickets and 5 deliveries to spare, courtesy of a clinical batting display from their top-five batters. David Warner's quickfire 25 (from 17 deliveries) up top was the lowest score for Gujarat all innings. The highest-score was his opening partner, Jason Roy's 118, which was aided by 17 fours and 1 six. Shai Hope bounced back from his failure in the previous game with a stern 95, albeit playing a slowed-down knock. Bangalore were well within the game in the death-overs before David Miller came out to bat following Shai Hope's dismissal, and pretty much killed the chase in the space of 9 deliveries. A stunning victory for Gujarat Titans, who chop down an impressive 342-run target against (an admittedly second-string) Royal Challengers Bangalore with relative ease.
